The LHF is a coordinate measuring machine (CMM) in portal design, especially developed for the reliable measurement of large-volume components. Typical applications include large drive trains, frames, engine casings or even landing gears from the aerospace industry. The floor-level CMM is also characterised by its open design and excellent accessibility.
The new LHF 5025 with an enormous gantry size of 5 m x 2.5 m (X-, Z-axis) and a customised Y-axis length is also ideally suited for measuring oversized components. This also allows the user even more efficient placement with extreme freedom of movement and ensures maximum safety.
The double drive in the Y-axis of the LHF makes it unbeatable in terms of dynamics; and this with a unique stability of the guides. The LHF is available in three accuracy classes for different accuracy requirements: Standard, Premium and Premium Select. The Premium and Premium Select models are equipped with automatic temperature compensation.
The LHF can be equipped with Renishaw’s sensor systems, including the ultra-fast REVO 5-axis probe head system, as well as with the wide portfolio of WENZEL optical sensors.
