The French actor’s Malik Zidi, who won the César Award, and Raphael Temim, a promising young actor, were 3D scanned with the Artec Leo scanner to create lifelike 3D replicas for use in the special effects of the upcoming film Le Refuge (The Shelter). Le Refuge, directed by Cyrus Neshvad, whose film The Red Suitcase was recently nominated for an Oscar, takes a frightful and suspenseful look at guilt, forgiveness, and survival.

Le Refuge draws inspiration from Ridley Scott’s Alien and Alejandro Amenábar’s The Others for their distinctive blend of thriller and horror elements. In her quest for retribution and forgiveness, the main character, Anne, travels through a world that becomes increasingly perilous and foreign.
