This event marked a significant milestone, attracting almost 270 people, as Duwe-3d AG played host for the 20th time. Under the theme ‘3D Measurement Data in the Product Lifecycle,’ the meeting featured a wealth of specialist lectures and an exhibition showcasing products from 20 measurement technology manufacturers.
The event was a resounding triumph and stood out for the passion and dedication of all involved. Duwe-3d AG seized the opportunity to share valuable knowledge and experiences in the realm of 3D data and its diverse applications.
In his opening address, Claus Knoll, CEO of Duwe-3d AG, emphasized, “The utilization of 3D data holds tremendous potential. Data with three-dimensional context makes visible what would otherwise remain unseen. It empowers us to delve deeper, leading to better decisions and products.”

The event featured an array of activities, including user-centric PolyWorks mini-workshops, presentations unveiling tips and tricks for daily work, experiential stations on topics related to 3D measurement data in the product lifecycle, as well as the introduction of new features in PolyWorks 2023 through workflow presentations. Duwe-3d AG’s team shared their extensive expertise and experiences through in-depth presentations covering various PolyWorks functions, projects, and developments. Moreover, the program included engaging presentations on the utilization of 3D measurement data in both industry and research, delivered by PolyWorks users.
Industry leaders such as e.g. Hexagon, Faro, or Creaform/Ametek showed highlights of measurement technology. But also young companies like Eleven Dynamics showed at the accompanying exhibition what the future of 3D metrology looks like. In addition to hardware manufacturers, service providers and manufacturers of additive products were also present at the accompanying trade exhibition.
