On August 26th, SHINING 3D, a pioneer in 3D scanning and printing solutions, announced the establishment of its new Accuracy Laboratory in Hangzhou, China. The laboratory has been accredited the ISO/IEC 17025:2017[1] certification by the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS), ensuring that its technical capabilities can provide reliable quality assurance for enterprise, industry, and customer product research, testing, and manufacturing.
The ISO/IEC 17025:2017 certification is an internationally recognized quality management standard that sets requirements for testing and calibration laboratories. This means that the laboratory can demonstrate compliance with technical specifications, taking into account various elements such as personnel proficiency, testing and calibration methods, traceability of measurements, and reporting of results.
SHINING 3D’s Accuracy Laboratory is equipped with a range of calibration instruments, such as laser interferometers, 2D image measurement instruments, 3D coordinate measuring machines, multi-specification standard measuring balls, and optical 3D scanning measuring calibration devices. At the same time, the laboratory also provides a constant temperature and humidity testing environment, enabling it to obtain stable and reliable measurement results.
The laboratory’s calibration services are based on the Chinese National Metrology Technical Specification JJF 1951-2021[2] and the international standard VDI/VDE 2634 Part 3[3] published by the German Engineering Association. The Accuracy Laboratory can issue accuracy reports with the CNAS standard seal, realizing mutual recognition with more than 100 countries and regions worldwide.
SHINING 3D Chairman and CEO Li Tao said, “For nearly 20 years, SHINING 3D has been committed to the research and application of high-accuracy 3D software and hardware, and is committed to promoting the popularization and application of high-accuracy 3D technology. Today, more and more users are using 3D technology to quickly obtain high-fidelity, high-accuracy models, providing real, accurate, and complete object sizes and shapes, widely used in industries such as automotive, aerospace, energy, machinery, and molds.”
For these industries, the use of 3D measurement equipment that complies with international leading measurement standards is crucial. SHINING 3D is honored to now provide this guarantee to its customers.
The new ISO 17025 accredited Accuracy Laboratory is another pillar of SHINING 3D’s continuous commitment to providing users with the most advanced technology and high-quality customer service. In 2023, SHINING 3D will invest 25% of its revenue into research and development, and through the new laboratory, SHINING 3D will further promote the development of the 3D measurement industry.
