Bluebay Automation, based out of Nashville (TN) with additional locations in Chattanooga (TN), Charlotte (NC), and Atlanta (GA), have entered a partnership with Kassow Robots. “We have been following our collaborative robot competitors closely as that market matures, and see Kassow Robots as the differentiator in regard to overcoming cobot limitations such as payload and speed. All of Kassow Robot’s significant competitive advantages have set them apart from the rest of the market – we wanted to get in on the ground level and become part of this story”, says Pierre de Giorgio, CEO of Bluebay Automation.

Ability to deploy a robot even in tight spaces
“Kassow Robots addressed this issue and developed strong and fast cobots – with payloads of up to 18 kilograms and speed of up to 225 degree / second. The broad variety of reaches spanning from 850mm up to 1800mm are very convincing, and of course the extra range of motion through the 7th axis adds a maneuverability that just isn’t seen with other brands. This enables our customers to deploy a robot in extremely tight spaces, in applications where robotic solutions used to be seldomly feasible.” With every robot in Kassow Robot’s lineup having 7 degrees, demanding tasks such as machine tending are now open game for robotic implementation.
“Bluebay`s team of engineers and industry professionals is really passionate about automation. Their area of expertise resides in flexible automation, robotics, motion control, and IIoT. It is great to have Pierre and his team on board!”, says Dieter Pletscher, Sales Manager at Kassow Robots. “I am sure that our broad product portfolio of five 7-axis cobots will help BlueBay Automation’s customers effectively combat the current common industrial challengessuch as labor shortage and continuous improvement efforts.
