Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers’ Association organised the International Seminar on Manufacturing Technologies in conjunction with IMTEX 2023 held on 18th January 2022 at BIEC, Bangalore.
The summit was inaugurated by Dr. Nandini Chakravorti, Associate Director, Manufacturing Technology Centre, UK. Dr. Chakravorti in her opening address spoke about ‘Accelerating the Adoption of Industrial Digital Technologies in Manufacturing’, towards enhancing manufacturing competitiveness. Mr. Ravi Raghavan, President, IMTMA, Mr.Rajendra Rajamane, Vice President, IMTMA, and Mr. Jibak Dasgupta, Director General & CEO were present during the occasion.
The Seminar witnessed a record participation of over 350 delegates from 115 companies across a diverse cross-section of the industry.
Apart from the Inaugural keynote, the seminar featured technology presentations from WFL Milturn Technologies, Austria, Makino, Japan, DMG Mori, Germany, IIT Madras, Schunk Intec, Germany, Blum Novotest, Germany, Association for Manufacturing Technology, USA, IIT Kanpur, Siemens, Germany, m2nxt, India, ISCAR, Israel, Marposs, Italy, Fanuc, India, Bosch, India, Amace Solutions, India on various topics such as Machining, Work Holding & Tooling, Additive Manufacturing, Enabling Technologies, Emerging Trends and Industry 4.0.
