Introducing Visual Components Experience 1.7

Visual Components Experience 1.7 is here, bringing you new features and improvements to enhance the collaboration and communication experience within and between teams.

With this most recent upgrade, Visual Components Experience, our standalone program that is free to use, just got better!

In order to give Visual Components users a fresh perspective on production design and planning, we launched Visual Components Experience (VCE). With the most recent version 1.7 release, we offer our users a toolkit that has been updated to meet all of their demands for sharing and experiencing layouts and 3D simulations in a totally realistic virtual world.

Let’s take a look at what’s new in this latest release:

Measurement Tool on Desktop

The measurement tool, which was initially introduced in VCE 1.6 as a VR-only option, is now accessible in the 3D mode of the Desktop version. When working on projects that need accurate measurements, this tool’s ability to swiftly and easily verify an object’s dimensions with a few clicks can be quite helpful. Additionally, this function can save users a great deal of time and effort, lowering the possibility of human error and raising the general standard of the project.

Soft Shadows

Shadows play a significant part in giving the appearance of depth and dimension in a scene, and soft shadows provide more realistic-looking shadows. The option to alter the quality of shadows is another new feature of version 1.7. Users can customize the shadows to suit their unique needs by creating and adjusting the shadow quality using the Quality slider in VCE 1.7’s Settings section.

Both the desktop and mobile versions of VCE 1.7 have this functionality.

Other Improvements

Users gain a lot from VCE 1.7’s other modest upgrades as well. For instance, the redesigned web surfing components libraries offer additional options and functionality while the improved settings structure makes locating and navigating the settings easier. Another new feature that may help with performance and storage space savings is the ability to load VCAX files (the native file format of VCE) without creating an additional file copy.

The software has advanced with the release of VCE 1.7, which gives both new and seasoned users new features to improve teamwork and communication.
