Arivis software product family to include APEER, under the trusted ZEISS brand 4 APRIL 2023

By combining their software under the name ZEISS arivis, APEER and arivis will be able to better serve their clients. Beginning in April 2023, the modifications will happen during the course of the following year in stages. Customers may continue to anticipate the same standard of assistance and quality. The extended software product line, which now incorporates cloud and AI solutions, will be known by the moniker ZEISS arivis. This action is in line with arivis AG’s legal transformation into a ZEISS corporation and name change to Carl Zeiss Microscopy Software Centre Rostock GmbH.

A new name and a new look

The well-known ZEISS brand will replace arivis as of April 2023. To become ZEISS arivis Pro, Vision4D. ZEISS arivis Pro VR will replace VisionVR. ZEISS arivis Hub will replace VisionHub. ZEISS arivis Cloud will replace APEER. The arivis AI Toolkit will be used to refer to the AI technology. The rebranding will take place in stages, beginning with the renaming of the products and the arivis website, then moving on to other product experiences at a later time.

By making this move, ZEISS is embracing the expanding significance of AI-driven data analysis software. These modifications offer consumers a consolidated product family with cutting-edge technologies that, regardless of the complexity of the data, enable them to extract and visualize vital information more quickly. arivis AG becomes a 100% subsidiary of Carl Zeiss Microscopy GmbH

Carl Zeiss Microscopy Software Centre Rostock GmbH will be the name of the new subsidiary. The managing directors are Andreas Suchanek and Christian Götze.
