FARO, a worldwide head of 3D estimation, imaging, and acknowledgment answers for the 3D Metrology, AEC (Design, Designing, and Development), and Public Security Investigation markets, today declared the arrangement of Peter Lau as President and CEO and as individual from the Organization’s Directorate, compelling July 24th, 2023.
Mr. Wasserman will continue to serve as the Executive Chairman of the Company but will no longer be the Interim Chief Executive Officer of the Company as of Mr. Lau’s start date.
According to Yuval Wasserman, Executive Chairman of FARO’s Board of Directors, “Peter is a well-rounded global business leader with a strong best-in-class foundation and a demonstrated track record of improving business performance across diverse industrial businesses.” We believe that FARO’s strategic roadmap execution will be accelerated by Peter’s demonstrated track record of integrating software solutions into complex hardware-oriented Honeywell businesses and these strengths.
Mr. Lau added, “Venturing into the job of President and Chief at FARO is both an honor and an open door. FARO has established itself as a global leader in digital reality capture solutions, and our goal moving forward is to consolidate our position by bringing together immersive technologies, software, and hardware. By saddling the force of advanced reality arrangements, we want to empower clients to acknowledge more noteworthy working efficiencies via flawlessly mixing the physical and virtual universes.”
Peter Lau as of late filled in as CEO and a board individual from Impetus Nutraceuticals. Beforehand, Mr. Lau stood firm on a few senior leader footholds including the President and Chief of divisions inside Hubbell, Honeywell, and General Electric. Mr. Lau graduated from Northeastern University with a B.S. in Business Administration.
