Jenoptik will debut a new high-power F-Theta lens and showcase its extensive product portfolio of high-performance optical components and systems at the leading photonics trade fair in Munich. These trends serve biophotonics, laser production, optoelectronics, data transmission, and imaging.
Visitors to the LASER World of PHOTONICS in 2023 can anticipate product innovations from Jenoptik that will increase efficiency and precision, particularly in the semiconductor, medical, and laser material processing industries.
Jenoptik will demonstrate live how we can enable safety with the EVIDIR infrared camera modules as well as demonstrate how we can enable diagnostic and therapeutic solutions with a new high-power F-Theta lens. A smart test solution for PIC wafer testing, the most recent version of the UFO ProbeTM Card, will also be on display.
Customer-driven technology – live at the booth #B2.123
A large angle metastructure-based beam splitter, among other optical and micro-optical components, will be demonstrated live at the booth for applications in the semiconductor industry. For laser material handling Jenoptik shows its high-accuracy item portfolio from a laser source, bar expanders, pillar splitters, and shapers, gratings, and channels to the most up-to-date F-Theta focal points.
The UFO ProbeTM Card, the most recent generation of the photonic specialist’s innovative PIC testing solution, enables high-volume manufacturing of high-performance chips and facilitates data communication.
Visitors to the trade fair can also learn about the optical technologies and products that Jenoptik engineers have developed, tested, and manufactured for the current NASA mission, “Mars 2020,” by using a miniature version of the Mars rover called “Perseverance.”
More capacities for laser material processing components
In order to accommodate its customers’ high-volume orders in Europe and Asia, Jenoptik is expanding its manufacturing capacities for F-Theta lenses. As a result, the selection of F-Theta lenses and beam expanders is constantly growing.
The brand-new high-power F-Theta lens JENarTM 675-1030..1080-707+VIS AL will be on display this year at the LASER World of PHOTONICS in Munich. This fused silica lens is made to work with a 14 mm scanner and has a scan area of 500 x 500 mm. It is suitable for plastics and metal welding, 3D printing, and other applications thanks to its 660 mm focal length.
This lens is also suitable for coaxial process observations due to its improved transmission of approximately 650 nm and 880 nm. It is accessible in the frequency scope of 1030… 1080 nm. Based on Jenoptik’s tried-and-true mechanical and optical design, the new JENarTM lenses must meet the same high-quality standards as the existing F-Theta lenses.
Metrology for a more sustainable future
SwissOptic, a subsidiary of the Jenoptik Group, is displaying examples of products used in remote sensing applications. The search for natural resources, land surveying and infrastructure planning, climate research, and precision farming are just a few of the many fields in which the application of optical technologies is gaining traction and have thousands of application scenarios. For many of these applications, SwissOptic is highly skilled in manufacturing optical components, subassemblies, and optomechanical modules.
At the Jenoptik and SwissOptic booths B2.123 and A3.405, as well as at the TRIOPTICS booth, you can see how we “enable the amazing” at the LASER World of PHOTONICS in Munich from June 27 to 30.
