The GoPxL IIoT Vision Inspection Software has officially been released, according to LMI Technologies (LMI), a renowned provider of 3D scanning and inspection solutions. A web-based, inline measurement and inspection solution generator for Gocator® 3D Smart Sensors, GoPxL is an embedded software program.
With a combination of on-sensor measurement filters and tools operating on Gocator’s market-leading laser, snapshot, and line confocal sensors, vision engineers may use GoPxL to handle various industrial inspection jobs.

One of the most significant new product launches in recent LMI history is the launch of GoPxL 1.0. It is the result of more than 30 years of experience and competence in the creation of embedded machine vision software, which was directly influenced by feedback from users of our products. The new searchable tools, embedded tool help, multi-layer profiling support, and ability to create custom HMIs for displaying and reporting Gocator sensor data on PC, touchscreen, or mobile device, among other features, raise the bar for the embedded vision software market and lay a solid foundation for future generations of FactorySmart 3D sensor products and solutions, according to Mark Radford, CEO of LMI Technologies.

NOTE: Previous Gocator Firmware updates will still receive support and maintenance even though customers are urged to test out GoPxL. Firmware 6.1.42.10 or newer is currently shipped with G2 and G3 products.
