LMI Technologies (LMI), a leading developer of 3D scanning and inspection solutions, is pleased to announce the official release of RED LASER versions of its popular Gocator® 2540/50 and Gocator® 2629/30/40 Smart 3D Laser Line Profile Sensor models.
Red laser illumination delivers increased speed, sensitivity, and signal quality when scanning dark materials such as black rubber tires, and on reddish materials like copper that absorb blue laser light.
Users can also achieve increased speed in their dual and multi-sensor systems by networking red and blue laser models without the need for exposure multiplexing.
Use cases include:
- Gocator 2540/50 RED LASER for high-speed applications in Rubber & Tire, and high-speed buddied systems without exposure multiplexing
- Gocator 2629/30/40 RED LASER for mid-sized field of view applications in Automotive
“The strategic addition of red laser versions to our most popular line profiler models provides customers with another layer of performance specialization for resolving challenging materials”, said Mark Radford, CEO, LMI Technologies.
