Non-Contact 3D Optical Profilers

Non-Contact 3D Optical Profilers

Non-Contact 3D Surface Profilometers for Aspheric, diffractive & Freeform Optics/Lens Shape Measurement

The LUPHOScan range is designed to perform ultra-precision non-contact 3D form measurements of rotationally symmetric surfaces such as aspheric and capable of freeform measurement. These instruments are ideal for applications where non-contact measurement at the highest accuracy is required and essential to the manufacturing process. This is most beneficial for surfaces with steep slopes, with varying pitch directions, and small surfaces, such as smartphone lenses and their molds.

Non-Contact 3D Optical Profilers

The LUPHOScan non-contact 3d optical surface profilometer is designed to perform ultra-precision optical surfaces from the measurement of rotationally symmetric surfaces such as aspheric lenses, spheres, flats, and slight free forms. Key benefits of the Non-Contact 3D Optical Profilers system include fast measurement speeds, high flexibility with regards to uncommon surface shapes (e.g. flat apexes or profiles with points of inflection), and maximum object diameters up to 1000 mm.

Hight precision of optical systems

Meet the high demand of the consumer market including classical cameras, smartphone cameras, AR/VR, automotive, etc)

LUPHOScan Applications:

Aspheres, sphere, flats

  • No limitation in asphericity
  • High slopes of up to 90 ° convex and 85 ° concave
  • Including inflection point (e.g.gullwing aspheres)

Segmented objects

  • Annular objects
  • Cylinder and axicons
  • Aspheric-diffractive und Fresnel lenses
  • Freeform optics
  • Correlation of front and back surface
  • Mechanical alignment
