SmartScope E45
OGP reimagined its dependable SmartScope line in order to make it accessible to customers of all skill levels and budgets with the release of the benchtop model SmartScope E7 in September 2022. The brand-new fixed-lens IntelliCentricTM optical system is included in the E45 along with the E7. This fully telecentric optical system produces extremely high-resolution images and is ideal for video edge detection metrology. The standard all-LED lighting system illuminates parts from all angles, and the digital zoom lets you change the magnification instantly. The E45 has a large stage that can handle both large and small parts.
“SmartScope E45 combines innovative optical design, advanced camera technology, and OGP’s class-leading image processing algorithms,” stated Jim Stern, Director of OGP Applications Engineering. E45 has the same feature size range as mechanical zoom optical systems, but there are no moving parts, which improves system longevity and throughput. With excellent image quality, electricity, and distortion-free imaging, the IntelliCentric optical system delivers outstanding optical performance at low zoom.
