Completes the E-Series lineup of the fixed lens, and digital zoom systems with IntelliCentric optics by joining SmartScope E7.
A floor model addition to the brand-new SmartScope E-Series family of Automatic Digital Zoom Metrology Systems, SmartScope® E45 is being released by Optical Gauging Products (OGP®), a global leader in optical and precise multisensor metrology systems for industrial quality control.
OGP reinvented its well-known SmartScope lineup with the release of the benchtop model SmartScope E7 in September 2022 to be affordable for all skill levels and financial situations. The brand-new fixed lens IntelliCentricTM optical system, which is also included in the E7 and E45, is totally telecentric and offers extremely high-resolution pictures, making it ideal for video edge detection metrology. The basic all-LED lighting system illuminates the components from all sides, while the digital zoom enables quick changes in magnification. The E45 has a sizable stage that can accommodate both large and numerous little pieces.
“SmartScope E45 combines innovative optical design, cutting-edge camera technology, and OGP’s class-leading image processing algorithms,” said Jim Stern, Director of OGP Applications Engineering. Without moving parts, E45 offers the same feature size range as mechanical zoom optical systems, enhancing throughput and system durability. Telecentricity, superb image quality, and distortion-free photography are all produced by the IntelliCentric optical system at modest zoom levels.
Orders for SmartScope E45 systems are now being taken by OGP. Visit ogpnet.com/e45 for further details, system specifications, and product videos.
