Small but powerful! Whether measuring on site in production or in the laboratory – the MarSurf PS 10, MarSurf M 310 and MarSurf M 410 handheld measuring devices score points with a range of advantages that no one else can match. Their most important benefits at a glance:
▶ Touchscreen
Tablets, cell phones and the like have long been established and can be easily controlled via touchscreen. So why should measurement technicians still use buttons? The MarSurf PS 10, MarSurf M 310 and MarSurf M 410 are all based on a smartphone concept in which the device is controlled intuitively via the start button, the home button and the large, illuminated 4.3-inch TFT touch display with rotating display. Users can also assign a function or parameter of their choice to the freely programmable F1, F2 and F3 keys.
▶ PDF logs directly in the device
A major advantage of the handy tools: PDF reports can be created directly in the devices using the keyboard – without separate software. Changes can be made at any time and you can even add your company logo to the report, if you wish. The integrated memory in the MarSurf M 410 allows for 500,000 measurement results and 1500 PDF reports. In addition, the data can optionally be saved on a micro SD card with a capacity of up to 32 gigabytes – this corresponds to a factor of 320 in terms of measurement logs.
▶ Auto Cut-Off
Roughness must always be measured according to the current standard. This makes the selection of filters necessary. The MarSurf PS 10, the MarSurf M 310 and the MarSurf M 410 each have three different auto cut-offs according to the standard. If you do not select a filter, set the device to “Automatic” and it will select the appropriate one. This automatic cut-off selection reduces the amount of training required and ensures correct measurement results even for non-measurement technicians. This avoids measurement errors and allows even untrained or poorly trained employees to carry out measurements independently.
▶ Open probes
Another advantage of the mobile tools is that the devices have two different probes – skidded probe and free probe. The housing of the PHT series runner probe is open at the front, making it very easy to clean the skid of deposits such as dirt and oil, for example with a hair brush or compressed air. The MarSurf M 410 free probe is attached magnetically using a 3-point mount. This means that no tools are required to fix it in place and, in the event of a collision, the ceramic probe arm is released from the magnet and is not damaged.
▶ No expensive extras
To transfer the data from the measuring device to the PC via Bluetooth® wireless technology, a commercially available dongle or adapter with Bluetooth® wireless technology is sufficient – and no elaborate special constructions.
▶ Automatic updates
The three handheld devices are always up to date as you automatically receive updates for the very latest version.
