From May 31 to June 1, a top supplier of 3D scanning solutions hosted the SCANTECH 2023 NEW PRODUCT LAUNCH EVENT with the theme “Pursue the Light, Win the Future,” drawing a large number of resellers and businesspeople from China and abroad to exchange knowledge about 3D scanning, connect with one another, and grow their businesses. The most recent optical tracking 3D scanner, TrackScan-Sharp, as well as the automated measurement products AM-CELL C200 and AM-DESK, were on display. Here are a few of the main points.
The keynote address by CEO Mr Wang Jiangfeng officially began the conference. The CEO discussed how the team had changed and expanded in his speech. Scantech began as a small group of enthusiastic young people interested in 3D digitalization. As of the date of publication, this tiny team has expanded to a global organisation with more than 300 members.
It was a difficult trip, but there were many technological advances to be proud of, like the incorporation of the blue laser into a portable 3D scanner and the combination of 3D scanning and photogrammetry. Mr Wang thanked his fellow travellers, customers, and business partners and promised that Scantech would keep increasing its R&D spending and provide more sophisticated 3D scanners and 3D solutions.
The offline introduction of our newest optical tracking 3D scanner TrackScan-Sharp and automated measurement systems AM-DESK and AM-CELL, which provide excellent precision, a quick measurement rate, and ease of use for diverse industries, was one of the conference’s highlights.
With 25-MP cameras and a measurement volume of up to 49 m3, TrackScan-Sharp significantly cuts the time and expense associated with measuring large parts.
With the help of our basic AM-DESK and AM-CELL solutions, our resellers and customers may now take advantage of the simplicity of automated measurement. They witnessed these products in use and discovered their benefits. Our 3D measurement tools feature a modular design, easy installation, a one-button start, and 100% automated measurement, which enhance production and save downtime for manufacturers.
Three special guests from the fields of metrology, the automobile sector, and automated inspection presented at the conference and discussed the uses and developments of 3D scanning technology.
Miss. Li Jianshuang from the National Institute of Metrology in China made a perceptive presentation on the development of geometric measurement and the history of the metre definition. From its beginnings as a portion of the Earth’s meridian to its current definition based on the speed of light in a vacuum, she traced the development of the metre. She also talked about the potential of the metre and how it might allow for more sophisticated and precise measurements in a variety of industries.
The pros and cons of blue laser 3D scanning and conventional inspection techniques were contrasted by Mr Sun Dashuan from HYCAN. He demonstrated how blue laser 3D scanning can produce data more quickly, accurately, and thoroughly than traditional techniques. Additionally, he gave various examples of blue laser 3D scanning and described its fundamental characteristics for the automobile sheet metal industry.
The answer for the part-level automated inspection in the aviation industry was offered by Mr Xu Peng from COMAC. He described the extensive usage of 3D measurement technologies in all phases of commercial aircraft production, including planning, manufacturing, assembling, and testing. His engaging lecture gave the audience insightful new information.
Several of our top resellers, who have been working with us for years and have expanded their businesses and clientele with our goods and assistance, were also featured at the conference, sharing their experiences and accomplishments.
The sales team presented some successful case studies of our 3D scanning solutions in various industries, including aerospace parts, machinery, and moulds. The performance and adaptability of our products impressed the resellers, who indicated an interest in and confidence in recommending them to their clients.
The conference also includes a number of sub-forums, including round-table forums for automation solutions, conversations with the product team, and forums for international partners. These forums investigated items and technology in-depth while concentrating on various business areas.
We had a great chance to interact with our resellers, share ideas and comments, and solidify our collaboration at the conference. We appreciate their confidence in us and their help, and we look forward to collaborating with them to bring more useful and cutting-edge 3D scanning goods to the market.
To overcome obstacles, Scantech will work with partners and distributors. By offering cutting-edge solutions, dependable performance, and expert services, we will strengthen our position in the market. Additionally, we’ll be dedicated to comprehending client requirements, accepting change, and developing creative solutions.
