Mahr launches its new contour meter MarSurf CD 140 AG 11

Mahr launches its new contour meter MarSurf CD 140 AG 11 with tactile measuring tip and measuring range of up to 70 mm. The measuring tips can be replaced quickly and without tools – and completely without recalibration.

The new contour meter enables fast and accurate measurements. Its flexible workpiece holder makes the MarSurf CD 140 AG 11 extra easy to handle. It is very versatile for measuring surface structure, and its intelligent tip system and magnetic tip holder make it possible to easily change tip tips without tools, at any time. The automatic measuring force selection guarantees correct measuring force when changing the measuring tip.

The high-speed X-axis in the new MarSurf CD 140 AG 11 contour measuring machine is designed for a large measuring range of 140 mm and has a positioning speed on the X-axis up to 200 mm / s. The Y-axis can be adjusted manually with a 60 mm cross table. The quick adjustment of the Z-axis is in turn performed with an easy-to-use handle. Above and below the Z-axis there is also the fine adjustment with which the X-axis can be moved up and down.

Intuitive contour measurements in an instant

The integrated MarWin software enables simple, intuitive contour measurements and evaluations; the user menu guides the operators to their measurement data in a guiding way. Measurement programs are easy to create with MarWin, and many measurement tasks – e.g. to determine radii, arc lengths, distances, angles and much more – are already pre-programmed in the new MarSurf CD 140 AG 11. It has a patented “Tangential Elements” function that supports simple, operator-independent evaluation of tangential transitions between radii and straight lines.

In addition to MarSurf CD 140 AG 11, operators have access to a wide range of clamping fixtures. Guide rails, stops and a wide range of standardized clamping devices and workpiece fixtures enable flexible positioning of the measuring object. The 390 mm x 450 mm plate with a 50 mm hole pattern is also suitable for workpieces with large volumes. This standard allows the use of existing workpiece fixtures and provides the basis for flexible positioning of the workpieces. The new contour meter can be used both stationary and directly on site at the workpiece. It is ideal for applications in mechanical engineering, production-related measurement, the automotive industry and medical technology.
